Christmas!
I was looking at my blog and I realized that I never posted about my BEAUTIFUL christmas tree that I set up this year (in order to have a decorated Christmas tree, I had to do the set up and take down). I was so proud of it cause I did it all by myself, I'm so grown up! First this AND I recently invested in a costco card. I am a total adult now! **[cousin] and [cousin] the guy doing my membership fell in love with me and gave me two coupons for pizza** BUT this is a picture of my tree.

New Leaf
So, I was sick of having sad blogs, so I'm writting a happier one. Since my G-ma's funeral (thanks to everyone who participated, it was pretty amazing) a lot has happened. I am moving to Orem, to live with my cousins, in my old grandma's house! and I am also getting to start a new ward and a new job. I'm really excited and i just wanted everyone to know that my life isn't completely falling apart! I love you, all! and thanks for all the support.

Announcements!!!
Billy and I have broken up, just so that there aren't anymore embarassing "congratulations" ;). I still love you, family. And don't worry everything is ok, I have a great family backing me up and I have a testimony that the Lord will help me through hard times.

Christmas
This is very delayed but like Jess I wanted to change my top post because I found out it is "inappropriate to cry at work." So, I'm going to do this tag that Mrs. Danielle sent me.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I love Christmas and I love watching people unwrap presents just because you can see they're anticipation, but sometimes there are times for gift bags when there is ZERO time.
2. Real tree or artificial tree? I'm torn. I LOVE decorating fake trees because you can bend the branches, but I love the smell of a real tree. (Although we have never actually had a real Christmas tree...)
3. When do you put up your tree? Psh, when ever our house if finished enough to decorate and we actually want to celebrate. (about once every five years). When we DO put it up, its about the beginning of December
4. When do you take the tree down? Usually after Christmas.. I don't really remember.
5. Do you like eggnog? Never tried the stuff, but I don't want to, drinking eggs is what body builders do...
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I once got a Barbie Jeep and I loved it. And once I got a little bag of goodies from my great grandma Stubbs, and she was so near the end of her life that even at ten I was really grateful that she even thought of her great grand kids at the time.
7. Hardest person to buy for? My parents!! Agh...
8. SAY EIGHT!! SAY EIGHT!!! haha I'm pretty funny I think
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Sure don't! my mom does...
10. Mail or e-mail Christmas cards? I don't like braggy brag cards, so I don't like them much unless they have pictures.. I can't read anything with out pictures, jk... (I have never received an email card, except at work, and I just delete them)
11. Favorite Christmas movie? Top three are (in this order) Elf, Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story.
12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? It varies, usually in November because I hate being places where there are crowds of people and now room to breath without breathing "already breathed air."
13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don't think so...
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? I dunno junk food! I pretty much eat as much as possible!
15. Lights on the tree? I didn't realize that was even an option.. its just mandatory.
16. Favorite Christmas song? I like a lot of them.
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? home, but then to utah county
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? um... i don't think so. I tried singing the song and it just didn't work out for me.
19. Angel on the tree top or a star? On mine this year I a configuration of twigs and sparkly sticks and things.. to answer the question: headdress style.
20. Do you open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? we used to open our pj's on Christmas eve, and then everything else on Christmas day, but then we stopped celebrating Christmas and we stopped getting pj's. Now we open a puzzle.
21. The most annoying thing about this time of year? Grumps!!!
22. Favorite ornament theme and color? I got to decorate our tree for the first time in a long time, and it was gold and bronze and I LOVED IT!!!
23. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Thanksgiving re-do but with Ham...
24. What do you want for Christmas this year? Ca$h Baby
25. Favorite Christmas tradition? well our only Christmas tradition is doing a puzzle Christmas eve while we watch Christmas movies then, we go to my moms side and watch all the pandemonium

The Delayed Post
Dear Grandma
I'm sorry I haven't been down to visit you yet. I just got done with my finals this morning and I promise when I'm done with work I will come to see you. It hurts my to know that it has taken me so long to make it down. I know that if it were the other way around you would be at my side as soon as you found out, because that's the kind of person you are.
I remember coming over to visit with you, and you would make sure that we were all well feed and had plenty of Diet Coke for the trip home. You would always make sure that we all had what we needed and if we didn't you would do your best to help.
I love you for always helping. I remember when you took care of my sister when she was so down, and I don't know how we would have managed with out you. You always knew the right thing to say.
You have taught me some of the most important lessons I know. That Olive Garden has the best olives in their salads, and they are very stingy with them, so you have to ask for extras. That when you go to the bathroom in an out-house to always make sure the seat is down. To go to the bathroom before bed so you don't wet the bed. How to bring a family together. To always keep your house neat and tidy. How important the gospel is and how to live it throughout your whole life.
I would never exchange anything for you. I hope that when I have my own family that I will be able to live up to you.
I love you.
Love Ashley

Big Birthday!
My birthday was last Wednesday. I just wanted to share with you guys how everything went! It started out very early because I had to get to a meeting very early with people from our "market" and after the very long dull meeting, I had to work a ten hour shift. I didn't get off work until about 7:30.
Right after work I went with Billy to Olive Garden, in Downtown Salt Lake, because Billy's parents gave me a $25 gift card. There, Billy gave me my present! (a Guess? watch)
After dinner we went to temple square, to look at lights
This is where Billy purposed! Yup I'm engaged! Neat it acutally happened. He purposed right underneath the temple and a kind on-looker started taking our picture right after it happened and here there are! (ps we're thinking March 14th so keep it open)

PUBLIC APOLOGY!!
To Whom it May Concern:
Preface:
Once upon a time, on a certain Thursday afternoon, Billy and I went to go eat with my fathers family. It was Thanksgiving, and I being indredibly swfit, decided that I was going to skip breakfast so that I could fill myself fuller with the main dinner. Although on paper it would have been a great idea, I forgot to calculate in the fact that I don't do well on low blood suger, making me grumpy and hard to deal with.
My Apology:
Poor little Billy, I just wanted everyone to know that my attitude on Thanksgiving was due to my own hunger and emotions, not because I dislike Billy. When we lift Billy was upset because he thought that I had been QUITE the butt head and was worried that I gave my family the impression that he bothers me. I just wanted to let eveyone know, for his sack that he doesn't bother me and that I actually kinda like having him around. Thanks for all your understanding, and I hope that my prickly-ness didn't affect your accepting him.
Have a great day!
