our many EXCITING nights

We, at the house of awesome, have parties almost everynight. Here is a picture of some of the examples of our exciting-ness. This particular night, I am knitting with some pretty sweet glasses we found.

OOOO jazz.

Believe it or not, I went to a Jazz game with Chris. (That's right, he hasn't ran away yet!) So I thought that I would share some pictures of that.... que --->

We were really high up... there are some dotes on that yellow rectangle.
Those are giant people on a basketball ball "field."
This is what the biz calls "half time:"
when the players take a break and everyone goes and gets more beer.

We made it back to the car safely,
however, we couldn’t get anywhere because there was a lot of traffic…
so I pulled out the camera.

Aquarium!!

There is an aquarium in Sandy that I have been wanting to go to for the last um, year and a half!! Yay, so exciting! I went last Friday with an old flame named Chris.

Um those are jellyfish, thats how extreme I am..

This is my old buddy...Paul. Just giving him a nice little poke.

Here is Marlin, and Nemo is hiding a little bit.. can ya see him? (don't worry totally got they're autographs, I'm selling them for food)

Welp. That was it, it ended up being really little and kinda smelt weird, they had some sort of "Rain Forest Show." They had birds, and snakes, a scorpian, and a turantula... the two people doing the show were complete bones. Let me just see if you can see what I mean...
She is talking to the bird (she clamed that it could talk or something)

(the sign says "photo opportunity")

and this was my date, he didn't send me the pictures of himself..

I'm really sorry about this..

Man alive I sure do love school! Today in my CS (computer science) class I was passed a note with a boys number on it and asked if I wanted to get coffee or lunch one day. (To put this into perspective, the ratio of girls to boys is 7:80). My math class is really hard to pay attention in, because I have no clue what is going on and it is usually 88 degrees in there, so I'm trying not to fall asleep! Now if you feel bad for me you can help with my CS1010 assignment, I had to throw together a very lame website to prove that I know html codes, and I need to make sure cool cats, like yourselves can see it and understand it. If you would go to it and let me know that would be lovely.

My life as of right now!

I haven't posted in a very long time and I thought that since I have about a half an hour before my next (and last class!) that I would try to get everyone up to speed as to what I am doing and where I am.

Living at my grandma's house is so exciting and so fun. It can get lonely at times but it's always fun to just do whatever I want whenever I want (kind of, school has been calling the shots lately..) I love my roommates and our laughs together, especially when I come home to find a house full of people and we play a fun and silly 4 people on a couch!

School is going good! It is really keeping me swamped with homework because this is my first major where I am not taking any generals, all upper division major classes (this means lots of money! if you would like to donate to the cause please notify me; cash checks and food are accepted). I love being at the U though, even though it is usually about an hour drive to school and back every day! (I'll also accept gas cards now that I thinks about it).

Working at my grandparents greenhouse is... well never dull, that's for sure. I never know what to wear because some days I am freezing to death while I am planting bulbs in a greenhouse that isn't heated, and watering plants outside in 20 degree weather with a broken sprayer so water is dripping down my sleeve for and hour and a half. Other days I am in a greenhouse doing inventory or transplanting, sweating my guts out like a little boy going through puberty! (if you have any ideas let me know) as of right now I just wear three shirts so I can take off and put on clothes accordingly.

I miss my family and friends (the few that read this)! It's hard being so busy because I would like to visit home more, but it is forcing me to make a new life in Orem. Sunday I went to the singles ward for the first time and actually talked to people that I didn't even know! It was exciting and I think it's going to be a really good ward, the girls in that ward seem to really care about other girls and not want to be "back stabbing B's". I love you all (because if you are reading this you are either family or friends). Wish me luck and health (because yes, I am STILL sick).

Da Flu!!

HOLY COW! soo this is a fun story!! and I have plenty of time because I'm sick on the couch!

It all started yesterday. It was supposed to be the day that I worked and when I woke up, I felt really weird and tingly all over, and it seemed like I couldn't get my shower hot enough, I just felt so cold. When it came time to eat I couldn't force myself to eat anything so I settled on a piece of bread and water. I went to work because I felt funny calling in sick when I only have one more week left. So I went thinking that I would just leave at lunch. I got there and I felt worse I just couldn't concentrate on my work and I wanted to go lay down. So I asked if I could leave after lunches, the loving answer was "well maybe at like five" (it was 12) and I flipped out (sorry to any workers reading this!) I informed him that just the day before he let my other supervisor leave early in the morning and we had SIX tellers that day and it was so slow at the time. So I told him that if I would leave anyway. Needless to say I was home in bed by 12:15pm (man I'm an attitude case haha).

After I took a nap I woke up and felt worse, but I was supposed to drive to Orem that night, so I got up and ate another piece of bread and drank more water and loaded up my car. I was supposed to bring my friend Kim along with me because she is moving down here as well, and we were going to go to a singles ward together today. On our way we stopped at wendys then got home to get ready for the night. Well her future roommates invited us to go and hang out with some BYU football players, during they recruiting night. We get there and the guys were so nice and it was so fun, and yes, they were SO attractive. Well I started to feel worse, and so I started to really crave my bed. Out of no where I felt even weirder, I jump up and run across couches, chairs and people to make it to the bathroom, close the door and take my scarf off and puke, like no one has puked before! (this is how I knew what I ate: two pieces of bread, chicken noodle soup, wendys burger, and two VERY bright dayquils!) So I felt a little better and I thought i had let it pass, so I left the bathroom and drank an entire water bottle.

Well it was late so Kim and I went home and mid-sentence I run to the bathroom and am puking with little Kim just outside the OPEN door. So, between heaves, I kicked the bathroom door shut while kneeling on all floors and ready to cry, haha! I then went to bed after. Key word "bed" not "sleep," needless to say I didn't get any sleep last night and I had a GNARLY fever. I woke up and Kim went home to Farmington. I have now been spending the last, I don't' know, year on the couch. Now, the reason for telling you this very graphic story is to promote flu vaccines, even though I, myself, am terrified of needles! I think that it's worth it. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone, so to those with hearts, I would really love a Sprite :(

Christmas!

I was looking at my blog and I realized that I never posted about my BEAUTIFUL christmas tree that I set up this year (in order to have a decorated Christmas tree, I had to do the set up and take down). I was so proud of it cause I did it all by myself, I'm so grown up! First this AND I recently invested in a costco card. I am a total adult now! **[cousin] and [cousin] the guy doing my membership fell in love with me and gave me two coupons for pizza** BUT this is a picture of my tree.
Anyway, next year I'm going to start a business where I will set up your Chirstmas tree. (take down costs extra). Just let me know if you are interested!
