Dear ol' Dad

Sooo it was Father's Day just the other day! I just wanted to give a shot out to my awesome opossum daddy-o.

He has the best taste in music (i.e. Rush).
He knows his stuff in leather (check out Lasco Leather)My dad can fix ANYTHING!

He also is the best listener, funniest joker, and in August he will be
the best dang Grandpa ever.

a little glimpse into my life with Chris

The other day Chris and I were sitting there watching TV and he was telling me how excited he is about being married and living together. He than takes me and says:

Chris: I need to ask you something
me: ok... what?
Chris: I was thinking that once a year we could each do something and we have to promise the other person that they can't get mad...
me: UMMM, EXCUSE ME?!?
Chris: It's just, I have always wanted to throw a drink in someones face**and who better than my wife?**
(** indicates what he was thinking)
me: Wait, you want to throw a drink in my face? every year?
Chris: yeah and you can do it to me, but you can't get mad.
me: I dunno if I can promise I won't get mad. What if I had a really bad day and you catch me off guard?
Chris: That's why you promise to not get mad :)
me: *Blank Stare*

A slow dinner

I have always been annoyed with slow drivers, however last night was THE WORST. Chris and I were rather hungry (really just Chris but I was hurtin for a sprite something hard). So we decide to take a trip to wendy's (you know when it's real). We took the short drive there and Chris was twitching with excitement because he knew exactly what he wanted, a #9 biggy size, so we could share the fries and sprite. well we get there and there is a line in the drive through, no big deal. EXCEPT that the people who were up to order had just escaped from there graves and had NO and I mean NNOO idea how to order at a wendy's and didn't have any idea what to order! we waited forever for this older couple to order their food and SLLLOOOWLY drive to pay for there food. They than recieved their food and would not drive forward until they checked their order!

This is where I am calling you into action. If you do not know what you want to order at a FAST food resturant, than get out yo' car and walk all the way to the building, and open the door, step inside and order your food there! Leave the drive thru to those who are more experienced.

Just more wedding stuff...

Believe this or not... but I am planning a wedding! Funny right? So I just had the funniest thought today about how I think that Chris and I have become closer the past few weeks. For those of you who know me, I am a stresser... as in, I worry and stress about EVERYTHING! While, Chris never worries or stresses about ANYTHING... Sometimes it gets a little frustrating. However, Chris and I make the best team. This past weekend I have been stressing about gathering everything I need so that I can get my wedding dress altered and then on Monday I started to make our guestbook, all while worrying about the DVD, music, and announcements... ahhh... there is so much to do!

...and then my knight and shining armor comes and tells me that he has the music covered, and if I get the pictures I want he will do the DVD for me, AND he has even looked online for announcements and has gotten me pricing and said that he would even design them for me. He has even stood up for me when some people decide that they are going to just plan things without me and Chris comes and saves the day, and says "NOPE NOT HAPPENING!! We will do it this way.."


I sure do love him so much!

The engagement!

It all started when Chris told me that on Thursday he was going to have to work late, so I got off work and drove home and ran a bunch of errands on my way home and went to the bank and all that jazz, ANYWAY I got home and got in my pajamas and then Chris called and said "Hey, I'm at my mom's house come over" and I think to myself "why didn't you call me when you got off work.." so anyway I got in my car and drove over to Chris's mom's house and got there and called him when I pulled up like I always do, so that he can let me in, so I don't make there dog have a heart attack. Well I call him and he tells me to "just come in, no one is home" umm.. yeah right here is your step-fathers car right here... well I got out of my car and started towards the door and saw this:

Now, when I first saw this i didn't really think much of it... until I walked in and saw this..

Sweet right? well after that I just started to follow the numbers and I can tell the rest better in pictures!!This here is a juicer, I have wanted a juicer like MY WHOLE LIFE!The ring box really was empty and when I found it

Just so all my reader's are aware... CHRIS PURPOSED!! I don't want to tell the whole story until I can post the pictures as well, and currently I am on my work computer, so I can't do that quite yet (maybe tomorrow? or Sunday?) so check back!!!
