The first month of marriage

I have been putting off an update, just because I don't have any fun pictures......

Wedding Day:
I really really enjoyed my wedding day. I woke up and went to the doctor with my mom and my mom and I had a nice calm bonding moment with my mommy (well as calm as the doctor's can be on your wedding day). Then after that my mom and I went to the grocery store to get food because I wanted my mom to make me a big lunch so I wouldn't starve. Other than that the morning was really really slow and kinda boring. I than went to get my hair done and from there went to my parents who drove me to the reception center and don't worry I only got there about 45 minutes late :) but it was my wedding day so who cares right? after the rehearsal, I sat in the brides room with my two cousins and just about had a panick attack waiting for my dad to come and get me.

The wedding was beautiful the pictures came out great. pretty much it was wonderful. best part about the whole day, I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend (aww.)

Honeymoon:
So after a wonderful day chris and I went to Salt Lake City to little america and awaited for morning to come so that we could get on the plane and GO TO DISNEYLAND woot.. we woke up got ready and went to smith's and got breakfast then headed for the airport.

For the first three days we stayed at The Californian Adventure, and they gave us a free upgrade to a suite which ended up being bigger than the house Chris and I are renting. It. was. awesome!

We spent a ton of time around the park and playing at the pool and just relaxing, then on day three we left there and went to huntington beach to relax some more.

It, too, was fun to just sit by the pool and read. Chris and I both got fried. The ocean was freezing, but we still had a ton of fun.

On our last day, we went to see a movie before we needed to be to the airport and we even spent more time at Disneyland. We went to the airport and flew home just in time for me to wake up at 6AM the next morning to go start school.... DRAG...

Married Life:
Chris and I rarely see each other during the week. Tuesdays and Thursdays I leave before chris is awake and I get home late and am really tired so I usually got to bed right when I get home, and Chris has night class Tuesday and Wednesday (soon to be Monday and Wednesday) so he doesn't get home until about 1030pm. so during the weekend, chris and I do nothing but sit around watching our "shows" and sleep in.. its a wonderful life, chris and I are still best friends and we don't really fight like I was worried was going to happen (I am very OCD and have to have everything just RIGHT, and chris is just not like that)

Has this every happened to you???

This past week I have been an emotional wreck, and I'm not even over exaggerating that a bit! Lately I feel like I should be admitted into a safe house for the next 5 (yes FIVE) days. Let me just show you what I mean.Lately Chris and I have been spending a lot of time at our house trying to get it ready to live in... ya know the basics like toilets and showers... So the other day i was in the "living room/family room" putting blue tape around things so that we could prime the yellowed walls and then paint them a beautiful color. Everything was going great and me and Chris were getting along just grandly and having a gay old time when SUDDENLY his grandparents came over and I took a break to speak with Chris's grandma and for the first time I realized that when we move in, we may not have anything ready... soooo
(these are tears not drool...)
I do the only logical thing, I get in a fight with Chris over nothing, and then run to the front room and lay on the dirty carpet and cry. When Chris asks "why" I honestly have no clue.. and just cry to him about how the house isn't done and so we leave because i no longer am a very good help in my condition...

Another example... yesterday at work, I was being very impatient and just all around rude. For instance:
Someone would call in and I would answer with the greeting. and the person would say something like
Mr man: O, hey I called earlier and left a message and never got a call ba...
me: (interrupting) "sir, sir, sir"
MR man: O, um yes?
me: the only thing that I can do is take another message.
Mr. Man: well you see, I already left a mess...
me: sir, sir, I know that. but THE. ONLY. THING. I. CAN. DO. IS. TAKE. ANOTHER. MESSAGE!!!!!!

Mr. Man: (really quite..) I'll just call someone else....

But unfortunately there is more.
I usually call Chris everyday while I'm walking to my car because there are a lot of homeless people about so I call him to make sure I make it to my car OK.... so Chris yesterday made the mistake of asking me how my day went.... my response...
And that was not the right thing to say... why you ask? i don't know why but something in me said "ya know it has been more than an hour than the last time i uncontrollably cried my freaking guts out.... so how about right now while i'm walking towards my car?!"

Rough two days right??? yeah there is still one more....
Yesterday after going to see my sister's baby Chris and I drove separately and were going to meet at his mother's house for food and Chris called to tell me that their fridge was broken and they didn't have food....
normal scene right??? WRONG
I flip out because Chris asks me what I want to do about dinner and that is just too much stress for me at this point apparently...

at this point I am down to only crying once so far... unfortunately it was right when I got to work and I was trying to take calls... didn't work everyone saw through it... If this continues Clear Eyes is going to hire me to bottle my tears so they can sell it to moisten other peoples eyes.

o ps i'm getting married in EIGHT days

um yeah did anyone else realize that the count down until I transfer from "single" to "married" is now just about one week away... is anyone else freaking out???

I thought that I would give people an update as to what I am doing in my spare time!
  • I have most of the wedding planned.. I pretty much just need to show up at this point (and finish writing thank you notes for shower gifts)
  • I do however have a hair, nail and hair appointment (get my hair colored the 10th, nails the 16th, hair up-do 17th)
  • Sometime this week Chris and I have to finish painting our bedroom and get our bathroom finished. What's wrong with our bedroom you ask? o its just pure yellowed paint on EVERYTHING, including all door knob, the door hinges, EVERYTHING. What's wrong with our bathroom? Mold took over and we had to rip everything out, we now don't have a toilet or a shower. Now not having a dishwasher doesn't seem that bad....
  • Chris needs to move in to our home once there is a shower and a bathroom (supposedly this week sometime)
  • I am supposed to move some of my things over on Monday the 16th so that when we come home from our honeymoon, I can get ready for school at our home, and not have to drive to my parent's home.
  • I am now officially done with all of my bridal showers. I had the last one this last Saturday for Chris's family. It turned out just grand and Chris and I made out with a bunch of cool stuff!!!
I think that's it...

when you think life is simple... it's not

Who ever said that "don't cry over split milk" is stupid because when you have a day like this, you will understand....

I wake up ON TIME for the first time in like MONTHS, and have enough time to get ready and cute and I'm so excited because I am going to have time to eat breakfast and get gasoline for my car... i mean its going to be great. For breakfast I decided to have toast with peanut butter and some milk, but to save time, so I actually get to work ON TIME for once in my life (ya know since my 60 day review is just around the corner), I take my toast and milk and get start towards my car and than....
I spill milk all over me and my cute outfit... so much for being on time today...

My worst fear in the world...

some people are afraid of normal things, like spiders and the dark, but my worst fear is the one thing that drives me to learn how to fish, cook, keep a food storage, and learn how to use guns. I have kinemortophobia, but not just that, I am afraid of being one of the last people on earth and I would have to fend for myself and be alone the rest of my life!! so i drew some sweet pics to show a time-line of how i see it playing in my head!!!

o yeah not for long...
BAM death and destruction!everyone is dead, except for me, because i am too small of a target for someone to bomb me, but there are all these dead bodies around, and all the buildings and pretty green grass are ALL GONE......and i'm hungry great... all the grocery stores and wendy's in the world are destroyed, the only thing left is a McDonald's but lets face it, i will NEVER be that desperate, this is when i would go to my bomb shelter and get my food storage and get all my guns and live the Rambo dream. except everyone in my life made fun of this odd fear that i have. so no one would let me dig up their back yard to build a bomb shelter.. soo now i am in a world, all alone, with no food, and no protection... thanks guys..At this point, the sun has been overcome by a severe depression, so the sky turns gray, and all the bombs have made the waters all become radioactive, this means that i cannot drink the water, or eat the fish that swim in the water... wait a minute....nope... it is a zombie...
great, no i am weapon-less, hungry, and cold since the sun is depressed and won't shine to warm my little back...so the only logical thing at this point is hiding in a corner of a run down buildingthis is when i decide that i will no longer sit idly by as zombies try to eat my brains, so i will stand up for myself and push those zombies out ma way to, some how, find some thing to eat!
stupid zombie head doesn't stand a chance to my fists of fury!i than see a poor helpless bunny, on of my favorite cute and cuddly animals, but i am so hungry that i just don't even care... poor bunny. however i am so blind with hungry that i don't even see it coming...the little sneaks are eating my brains!
This is my worst fear... strange i know... but so very, very true.

**kinemortophobia is the fear of zombies...

Power Animals

Recently, Older Sister had a baby shower, and the subject was brought up about power animals. Now I thought that this idea was MAGICAL, so I did my research (on wiki, soo.. really I just asked wiki the true meaning of a power animal). I found that power animals are spirit guides that protect individuals. So I than said "OMG, I WANT A POWER ANIMAL!"

Now it is my understanding that you cannot CHOOSE a power animal, you each have to choose each other. So I thought "Well... I do believe that it would be an animal from the felidae family" (that is the cat family for those of you who are less than knowledgeable about scientific classification). I than realized that my whole life I have always loved tigers, and felt a connection. and BAM I have a power animal! His name is Chester, he is a Siberian tiger. This is how Chester helps me:
And when it is inappropriate to have a tiger lurking around:
I hate public speaking...
**i have been reading a lot of hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com, and i decided, well i hate taking picutres so i will color pictures... hopefully i don't get sued.**
